Managed RFQ

One request, answered the same way by everyone.

Suppliers quote against your requirement through us, on a common template, so the offers that come back can actually be compared. Their contact details stay closed until you and we agree to open them.

What makes a quotable request

Six things a supplier needs before the price means anything.

A request missing any of these gets a number that will move later. We would rather ask you now than restate the comparison after the fact.

Product details
Material, dimensions, finish, tolerance, and any reference item. A photograph of something similar is worth more than a paragraph describing it.
Quantity and MOQ tolerance
The quantity you want and the quantity you would accept. Price breaks are usually where the negotiation actually happens.
Target price
Stating one does not weaken your position. It stops suppliers quoting a specification you did not ask for in order to hit a number they guessed at.
Destination market
The port, and the market the goods are sold into. Both change the certificates, the labelling and the landed cost.
Packaging requirements
Retail-ready, bulk, or private label. This is the requirement most often left out and most often expensive to add late.
Certificates and samples
What the product must carry to clear and to sell, and whether you want a sample before the order. Ask at RFQ stage, not after shortlisting.

What comes back

Offers on one basis, with the gaps already marked.

Restated on common terms

Every offer is put on the same incoterm and the same payment basis before anything is compared, so the cheapest column is the cheapest offer.

Gaps flagged per offer

An offer missing carton data or a warranty period is shown as incomplete rather than quietly ranked against ones that are not.

Supplier evidence attached

Each offer carries the supplier's evidence ledger, so you can see what has been checked before you shortlist on price.

Direct contact stays closed until it is opened deliberately

Supplier identity and contact details are released only after Trillions has reviewed the account, the evidence, the fit for your request and the commercial risk. That is the service, not a restriction on it.

Send the requirement and whatever you have already collected.

Quotes you have received, a specification, a photograph of the reference product. We turn it into one request and manage what comes back.
